Studio Perassi
Our history
Born to a family of professionals and international entrepreneurs and raised with progressive liberal principles, after receiving his law degree and passing the Bar, Giancarlo Perassi interned at Galante Garrone’s law firm amidst renowned colleagues. In 1965 he chose a return to family tradition over the big firms in Turin where he was working: he thus collected his inheritance from his grandfather Carlo – a surveyor chief of Cavour’s technical office, conciliator judge, friend of and special procurator for Benso dei Conti di Cavour family (for which he becomes procurator in Geneva in 1925) – and his great-grandfather Giorgio – Sir, friend and administrator of Prime Minister Giovanni Giolitti – and opens his own law firm in Cavour. The studio has and will always maintain an international vein. Though his studio was deep-rooted in the Cavour territory, Giancarlo Perassi would often work abroad as he was capable of weaving a net of constructive relations, especially with Latin America and the major European countries. Over the years, his daughter Rossella and son-in-law Marcello would transform the legal firm into a Service Company, adding their international experience as manager in prominent industries. Their choice was determined by the wish to dedicate further experience in competences to the territory, with the same consolidated ethics which have always been at the core of their family and studio, guaranteeing continuity to those with whom they have been collaborating while introducing a renewed professionality.
